I been trying to fix a graphics problem with the laptop 450sx4, and decided tio clean the filters and the laptop up. The owner is a smoker so perhaps overheating might be the cause. I made the mistake in starting removing the basescrews and not joy in removin the base cover so I put the screws back and thats when it doe not allow the power swtich to activate boot. I suspect there is a contact link or switch somewhere wich need to be closed to allow the laptop to work. Does any one know or have suggestions where I should look.

I have been to the gateway website and they show how the keyboard can be replaced and I found that access path very useful, hehe I clean the laptop that way.
