I am running Win XP and IE 6.0. When running IE, I select Tools, Internet Options, Settings from the General Tab, most times nothing happens when I press View Files or View Objects. Occasionally I get Microsoft telling me I have encountered a problem.
If your solution means re-installing IE, can you tell me the best way.
Many thanks in anticipation.

Hmm, I've never encountered this before, but I will have to admit that IE is prone to corruption
You should be able to download IE from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/...1/default.mspx
If memory serves correctly, the installer automatically uninstalls an old version before re-installing. There might also be a "repair" feature instead of doing a clean install.
