Getting Rid of Search Extender and Shopping Wizard

I have a couple of programs that ask me to download another exe program in order to get rid of them. The two programs are Search Extender and Shopping Wizard.

Should I trust this website or not? I am already having issues with my home page not working properly.

Personally, I wouldn't trust them -- they're probably part of the problem. Most of the legitimate (and free) tools can be found in this thread:
