I have setup Apache web server for the first time. I have a requirment to display the contents of a directory and display the contents of the file in that directory.

It is wokring fine for most of the file, but when I click on .log files, instead of opening in the browser it open in notepad. I did some research and added the following in the httpd.conf file

AddType text/plan .log

I also tried

AddType text/plain log

but it still displays the file in Notepad.

Any suggestions?

I have not yet found the solution, but theres seems to be a solution in these line. :-) I will go over it and see if I find the solution.
