New Hardware Found

  #1
I know this is gonna' be a simple one for someone. I have XP, and every time I reboot I have a "New Hardware Found" window popping up. How do I prevent this? I believe this is a hangover from a USB device set-up that I took out of the system. Any info appreciated.
Thanks,
Giddyup

The easy fix is to go through the wizard, tell it to find the best driver, and if it fails, it should give ou an option to not run the wizard again. If it finds a driver, click through until it is done.

Well duh! Followed your instructions and voila, no more "New Hardware Found." I suppose the baffling thing was, there was no new hardware to install so I didn't see the trees for the forest.
Thanks,
BuddyB
