Hi, I can't get my pc to boot up past the windows xp logo. Can anyone help get past this point? Obviously it isn't this pc that I'm on now. Thanks, John

No, it does the same thing in safe mode also, stops at the xp logo.

The last thing to do before formatting would be to try and repair Windows. If you boot to your Windows CD you can select the repair option. Hopefully that will do the trick.
