FTP Error 550..no go for deletes or anything!

I'm using WS_FTP and I cannot discover what the deal is. I have access to my folders, but I cannot create a new folder, nor can I delete folders. I do have the right trigger set for deleting folders with files in them, but I keep getting "Permission Denied." I've used another FTP client and get the same result. I'm just wondering what the 550 error means..anyone? I can transfer files all day long.
Thanks,
BuddyB

Hi, I'm having the same problem too! I'm using SmartFTP but, whenever I try to delete this particular folder, I get an error "550 cannot delete specified file". This is really annoying me coz I have deadlines to meet!!! I'm working on how to solve it so I'll post another reply if I manage to fix it.
