I have ATI's HDTV WONDER, and since installing it, an error message comes up everytime the computer is rebooted saying that "Run a DLL as an APP has encountered a problem and needs to close". Remote Wonder, a feature that came with this, also has stopped working. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the software and drivers, updated drivers, ran countless spware/adware removal programs, searched EVERYWHERE on the internet, and contacted ATI's customer service, and nothing has helped. If anyone knows anything about this please help. Thanks.

I went through this forever. At one point I had 63 uncleanable viruses on my computer according to trendmicro.com free scan. I deleted, repaired, ect...many many times. My advice to you is erase your hard drive and reinstall from scratch. Install ZoneAlarm and an anti-virus program as soon as you reinstall your OS. I'm not a computer genius, but I had a lot of advice from the real techies and I found this was the only was to kill the viruses forever. Good luck!

Please do not contact me by email or PM for help. We're all volunteers here, and only have so much free time to dedicate to our efforts.
However, if I've been working on a thread with you already, and seem to have "forgotten" your thread, please do send me a message. I try not to let things slip through the cracks, but it does happen sometimes.

Windows XP professional. I uninstalled all ATI software and drivers, and the message went away. I then reinstalled the drivers and software for my ATI radeon 9800 pro, and things were still fine. I then reinstalled the software and drivers for the ATI HDTV WONDER PCI card and the "Run a DLL as an APP" message occurred again. All software works except for the REMOTE WONDER program. very frustrating.
