Compiler for Xda Exec (Windows Mob v5)

Hi guys,
I've been searching for a C++ compiler for my Xda Exec, running Windows Mobile v5. It looks like CEdit will do the job (unfortunately not free) but then I have to download the compiler from a "third party" I'd be grateful to hear from people who are using compilers with Win Mob who could point me in the right direction, please.

Microsoft Visual Studio 5.0 (and newer) Professional version also compiles for Mobile 5.0. But it costs about $800.00 USD.
