Im doin my final year project next semester.
I hav an idea to develop a Mobile app that controls PC using Bluetooth/IR.
I hav an idea of using Java as the platform.
Could someone tel me the libraries that may control the IR/Bluetooth of a mobile.(if any)
Or any other mobile programming platforms that provide the facility.
First of all i want to know if my project idea is feasible.

C/C++ might be better you might need to call low level bluetooth driver apis , you might not get a readymade solution for your project assignment .

But does VC++ codes run on ordinary mobile phones.
The reason y i chose Java was that almost every mobile phone suppor java platform.
I donno abt VC++ being supported....does it ??

Some mobile phone code is in C++, but whether you'll be able to access the APIs depends on what kind of developer you are.

If you're an after market 3rd party developer, then it's probably going to be Java.
