Job Description

This project involves architecting and deploying application/data integration systems across a wide enterprise. Tasks include:

• Designing, implementing, modifying and supporting software programming, database, and web software applications. Technologies to be used will include C#, .Net, Java, Java EE, BPEL, ESB, Web Services, JMS, JBI, XML, application servers/containers and more.
• Must have experience working in Linux and Windows environments and some experience with shell scripting.
• Must have experience working with IDEs (Eclipse, JBuilder, Netbeans, etc)
• Must have verifiable experience with scripting languages (J/Python, Ruby, Groovy, PHP, etc).
• Prefer verifiable experience with various aspects of developing Web Services (Interface Design, Data formats and Exchange, Security, Orchestration, Testing, Debugging, Performance, and Scaling)
• Prefer verifiable work experience with C++.
• Must have solid working knowledge of Web Services (SOAP and REST-based) and associated mechanisms (messaging protocols, WSDL, etc)
• Must have solid working knowledge of XML (XML Schema, XSL/T, etc)
• Must have working knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture concepts and associated Service Component specifications.
• Must have working knowledge of application servers/server containers (Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat, etc)
• MUST be able to work independently and within tight deadlines.
• Some experience /working knowledge of an Enterprise Service Bus Implementation (Sonic ESB, IONA, ServiceMix, Mule, Synapse, etc)
• Prefer any working knowledge of BPEL or other workflow technologies
• Prefer any working knowledge JBI, JMX.

Software Development Tools

• Complete knowledge of general and software development and testing tools, capability and usage. Examples include compilers, linkers, debuggers, data analysis tools, graphical user interface builders, post processing tools, requirements management tools, and web authoring tools.

Software Domain Knowledge

• Complete knowledge of domains, characteristics, constraints and products that require software and influence architecture, requirements, interfaces, designs, and integration/test approaches. Domain examples include data processing, ground support, tools and analysis models. Examples of characteristics and constraints that impact software include operating systems, fidelity and information processing capacity. Examples of products include aircraft, missiles, airborne/shipboard/space systems/ground-based support systems.
