Python on Windows Mobile

I got Python installed on my AT&T Tilt and have been able to send *.py programs from my PC over to the phone.

However, when I try to write a Python program using Word Mobile or the Note program I can't figure out how to save the program with a .py extension so it will run. Both editors add their own extension onto the end of the file. . .

Does anyone know of a simple text editor (or even an IDE) that will work on Windows Mobile?

Also, does anyone know if there is a wxPython port to Windows Mobile for GUI use?

Thanks!!

check out http://pythonce.sourceforge.net/Wikka/GUIToolkit for alist of gui toolkits for python ce. If you can't figure that out then just do a command line app.
