Hello!
I have the following situation in my network:
a) 2 DCs - PDC & ADC (Windows 2003)
b) 2 DNS servers: Master on PDC and the other one on ADC
Both DNS servers are active directory integraded... (There is no standard PRIMARY & SECONDARY servers)...
Yesterday PDC went down... ADC & the other DNS server took their roles... Everything is OK so far.
I already have all FSMO roles seized by ADC... Now I want to promote DNS server to Master DNS server...
Is there any step-by step instruction for this operation?
Thank you in advance...
Pedza
