Vista Home Premium vs. Vista Home Premium w/Digital Cable Support

Hi,

I've read a few questions on the forum about Home Premium w/Digital Cable Support. I believe the diff is that HP w/Digital Cable Support allows you to record Cable TV programming and HP doesn't. I'm looking at buying through Dell a XPS 420 and need to know if I've understood the difference. Also, we're considering getting satellite because the rural cable company is high with limited cable channel selection. Would I need the digital cable support for this or should I just go with HP or Ultimate?

Thanks.

If you are reading the ad from a DELL website, I believe that means the machine will come with the Vista certified CableCARD and drivers that are required to watch TV on your computer.

Looking around the net, I cannot find any other software flavors of Home Premium (except the different licensing like retail, OEM and computer builder...)
