I'm sorry to say that I am not too sure what you mean by bypassing proxy... do you mean that I should install a program or just type in the ftp file myself? Thanks again!

Hi Crunchie! I went back to check Internet options Connections after fixing the below mentioned file from Hijack. I no longer have a proxy connection... Still get the "page cannot be displayed" error message but get the strong feeling we are making progress. At least my pc is clean now thanks to your help. Keep me posted and thanks again!

Running from localhost (your PC) from port 1030. Looking at it again, I think the http is out of place.
It may be best to fix it with hijackthis and go from there.

Do you have anything disabled in msconfig? Go to Start\run and type in msconfig, hit ok and go to the startup Tab. Make sure all entries are checked for startup. If any were found to be disabled, reboot after re-enabling them and post another log please.
