Our proprietary technology automatically isolates concepts, subjects and ideas while categorizing, classifying and stratifying web pages and their objects and resources. This produces a unique data model enabling the searcher to obtain their informational intent, even when poorly or inadequately expressed by the searcher.
We are looking for a talented software engineer. This exceptional individual will develop and oversee OHS's strategic path to the market place for this project.
ARCHITECTURAL GOALS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design large-scale, distributed and high-performance data and computing platform for the next generation of web search in three developmental stages. Crawl, organize, analyze and archive multi-billion document database, based upon our natural selection database management protocol. Lead team in the full life cycle of a large project.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS/MS Computer Science (or equivalent), 4+ years experience (PhD a plus).
Experienced in: C++/C, Java, Perl multi-threaded programming
Experience with large-scale, complex distributed Linux/Unix
applications, cluster management systems. Experience with search engine systems, crawling, indexing and ranking.
Experience working with Hadoop,
Text analysis, information extraction, information retrieval, natural language processing, artificial intelligence or related experience with any of the following.
