Vista grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!
![]() |
Hi all, I am getting frustrated with Vista. Vista Business in particular.
I work for a large company which is not on a domain, therefore our only way of managing our users PC's is by using the Administrator account.
In Vista I have enabled the Admin account and password protected it, it then showed up on the log in screen. I made a few registry changes to remove it from the login screen so users won't even be aware of it being there.
Now, I assumed by pressing ctrl-alt-del twice on the log in screen would present me with the Windows classic login screen as it does in XP. But it doesn't.
The only way I have manged to get a classic login was by enbling "do not remember last login" in secpol.msc but this is not ideal as we do not expect our users to remember their user name.
Am I right in saying there is no way of getting around this?
