The situation is the following I used phpmyadmin 2.11.5 on localhost when creating databases, but I have phpmyadmin 2.11.6 installed on my hosting account. I am planning to upload databases to hosting really soon and I have some questions about uploading databases to hosting. Can phpmyadmin version difference cause any problems when importing databases to hosting account?

2.11.5 and 2.11.6 is not a major difference. There should not be any problem exporting from 2.11.5 and importing it using 2.11.6.

Normally problem occurs when there are different mysql versions running.

What error ? Did you export data, or did you include the structure ? Be a bit more specific.

Also, it's probably more important that the underlying mysql servers are the same version than the phpadmin version. But yeah, what priteas said.
