I have a computer running 2 hard drives and 2 DVD devices. I think I saw a while ago a motherboard that allows you to run 8 devices from it. If anyone knows if this is correct and what the make/model is it would be greatly appreciated.

You could just add another controller card to your pc, or you could buy a board that has your 2 standard IDE controllers and a Serial ATA controller.
