Is there a free photo editing that is simple to use for mac os x. I have GIMP but is there another simple free program available for basic photo editing?

You can try using Seashore or ImageWell. From my experience though, GIMP is going to be your best bet. Have you tried iPhoto, as a basic editor it's very easy to use and can do quite a bit for you. Well, I hope all this info helps you.

check out opensourcemac.org, it has a whole bunch of great free software including links to where to get gimp and seashore. I personally love seashore.
