Up for sale is phpgas.com

I started the website on Sept 2nd and now would like to sell it! I developed the actual script almost 1 year ago and simply created websites with it and would sell sites using it and most recently I decided to make a website, whereby visitors could come to the site and make a purchase.

As far as I know, I am the only one with such a developed script. I do not think there is anything out there like this anywhere! There are widgets people can get to put gas prices on their websites, but nothing like this where they can own their own script.

As for features of the phpgas script, I will leave it to you to view the site and demo it. No need to bore you with a long description.

When I first opened phpgas.com for business, I advertised it everywhere. The site has been approved on hotscripts.com, which brings in a steady flow of traffic. I have also put it in forums, message boards, craigslist and a few other places. Currently there are about 969 links to phpgas.com

As a result of doing seo (my expertise), when you type "gas prices script" in google, phpgas is on page #1 !

Initially I promoted the site quite a bit and everyday I put an ad out, I would get at least one sale per day. I have recently neglected it due to other obligations, but the site still brings in sales. It is on autopilot and there is not a lot of effort required to run it.

phpgas.com, although profitable right now, has FAR more potential. The new owner if focused on it can easily sell way more than what the site is doing now.

There are two things you can do with the business:

1. turn it into a 3-5K a month business and make a full time income

2. build it up and resell the business in a year from now for thousands of dollars

Either way, it is an excellent investment.

I also have the site approved at trialpay.com This is an excellent sales tool, as it gives visitors the ability to get the script for Free! I added trialpay 3 days ago and already have 1 sale from it.

I use e-junkie.com for checkout and downloads. I find it the best system out there for this type of site, which gives you secure downloads and advanced sales reporting. You dont have to use this system, but it only costs $5 per month and is well worth it.

The script itself when delivered to the customer has some protection in as well to prevent people for copying the script. In the index file there is a statement which says - ONLY VALID IF PURCHASED FROM PHPGAS.COM..... If anyone attempts to remove this, the script will disable itself and no longer work.
