The problem I'm having is that I have 1000's of pictures on a few 100 cd's and I want to put them all onto one of my very large computers. To do this I need to also make a database to get to them quickly by searching for them or browsing an easy menu to get to certain pictures. Is there a very good databasing tool used for Macs that could help my problem or a good tip that could solve my problem?
I would use something like iPhoto? Cataloging them in a DB is both time instensive and with no real advantage. There are several programs out there that can do that for you. I believe even Photoshop Elements 3.0 for the make comes with Adobe Photo Album. Which from what I have seen is worth the money and works really well.
