Well daniweb is a pretty vast community right? People here live all around the world.

Well with the whole thing about fuel being hugely expensive all around the world i thought it would be good to see the price of fuel all around the world. So just post your location and the price of fuel.

For example:
Location: Newcastle Australia
price in Liters: $1.43 (AUS dollars)
prince in gallons: $5.41 (AUS dollars)

It will be interesting to see the price range in different places.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

In the UK its 93.0 to 110.0 UK pence per litre for normal unleaded petrol. diesel is more.

1 litre = 0.26 US gallons
so its roughly £4 per US gallon

and its £1 to 1.57 USD
which means its roughly $6.28 USD+ a gallon

6 months ago petrol prices were 110-120 a litre, and it was like £1 to $2
it was much worse then.....

It's about 2/3 of a year ago, 1/2 of four months ago.

Here's the history chart.

Rapid City SD $1.97 per gallon, mid-grade brand name gas.

I live in southern WV on the border of VA and it's about $2.29 here.
I am nothing special; of this I am sure. I am a common man with common thoughts, and I’ve led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten, but I’ve loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me, this has always been enough. -The Notebook

That chart only shows the prices for the past 3 months, not a year ago. Prices here were over $4/gallon a year ago.
