Just my .02 but I think you are running too many anti-virus programs at the same time. That definitely will cause problems. What evstevemd suggested is best but I would download Avast but prior to installing it, uninstall the other two AV's. Then install Avast and scan per evstevemd's suggestions.

ive deleted all anti-viruses and im using karspersky...the trial version...thats it...no other anti-virus

go to internet options and reset internet explorer settings under advance, mine stopped working too i did this and it worked good luck

FINALLY!!! THANK YOU!!! it worked...

when i installed AVG, it must have messed around with those options or something...but now everything is fine...windows explore is no longer turning off...

and thanks to everyone else that tried to help...
