htaccess problem

Hello,

I'm trying to make search-engine friendly URL's by redirecting them with a rule in the htaccess file.

The problem that I'm dealing with now is that the page is losing track of the css and scripting files.
This can naturally be resolved by using a full path to the linked files (eg : http://www.domain.com/styles/file.ext) instead of using a relative link (eg : ../styles/file.ext).

Does someone have another solution (using another rule in the htaccess file) ?

Thx.
