I got homework to design and draw a logic diagram in gate level for the complete ALU (Arithmetic and Logic Unit). I need to design logic gate circuit to perform 4 task (addition, subtraction, transfer and bitwise negation of second input. I understand how to design any of these functions alone, but how to put it together?

Has anyone example of how lucks, lets say, addition and subtraction design? Or any related material to this task?
