Hi, I'm in the middle of setting up a wireless network for one of my friends. The problem is, when I connect the wireless router (a netgear WGR614) I can't access the router settings. My friends computer isnt picking it up through the lan port, and neither is mine. What do i need to do in order to access the Netgear router? I have the right IP (it's on the bottom of the router)
and every thing is plugged in an on. Any one got any hints or help?

Most wireless routers have the management web-page disabled for wireless clients. Did you try actually connecting with a wire?

Once you have accessed it from a wired computer, you can enable wireless access to the management web-page. (should be a setting somewhere - check Netgear's website for the WGR614 manual)
