HEY I AM REPAIRING A COMPAQ ARMADA M700, SOFTWARE ISSUES. DURING WORKING ON THIS LAPTOP I NOTICED POWER UP ISSUES. I SHUT IT DOWN AND IT WOULD NOT RESTART, AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS IT TURNED BACK ON. DAY 2 I TRY TO TURN IT BACK ON AGAIN AND NOTHING, LIKE THE FIRST TIME NO SOUNDS NO LIGHTS NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! any solutions?????

It could be a lot of things, but probably a motherboard or power issue.

Intermittent, or worse, no internal power connection to batt. Prob. is most likely rust, dirt, or burnt connection on one side or the other.
