New Web using WiFi
I have been thinking out loud at work and in the locker room about a new internet web. Thinking to use WiFi as the connection between thousand and thousands of machines having WiFi connection. Mapping and linking could be established by setting up a local mapping system, incorporating GPS, of the machines having WiFi that would be interested in continuing a link to the computer that you wanted to join to.
Data encryption could be done using an encryption program that only the sender and user could read.
Of course would like to hear the positives, the negatives and solutions to the concept.
I figure with 65000 people involved in the design of the system each person would only have to contribute about 15 minutes of time and I am sure this could be up and running in a couple of days.
Anybody up for the challenge.
Of course the system would have to be able to transfer email, voice, files. Need to have firewalls and privacy.
