Pen drive is basic same as USB drive. A serial drive basically. If you can't set bios boot from it then it's a dead issue. If you can what you do next depends on OS ver. If memory serves ME will boot either 9X or XP if you just want basic access. If you want to run the server off of it it's a bad idea. Those drives have a extremly limited life expectancy.
