about:blank Trusted Start Page problem

I've got the about:blank problem, and have yet to figure out which .dlls, temp files, etc. may be ULTIMATELY causing it to pop up. I looked at the start page source code and it appears to bring up "http://a-search.biz" every time. Adaware, Spybot, Norton, etc. do not find any problems, and there does not seem to be any rogue processes running, although I am not 100% familiar with them all. I've read COUNTLESS posts and nothing seems to fix it (e.g. booting in Safe Mode and looking for hidden .dlls, etc.) Here is a HJT log:

Hi there. First of all you are running hijackthis from a temporary folder. The backups that hijackthis creates can be accidentally deleted when not in a permanent folder. Please do the following;

Click My Computer, then C:\
In the menu bar, File->New->Folder.
That will create a folder named New Folder, which you can rename to "HJT" or "HijackThis". Now you have C:\HJT\ folder. Put your HijackThis.exe there, and double click to run it.

Reboot and then scan with hijackthis and post that log. Do not remove anything from the log please .

The following are usually associated with a-search, so can you please do this;

Open HijackThis, and click on "Config" -- "Misc Tools" --"Delete a file on reboot".

Copy and Paste the below bold lines ito the " FIle Name" box, one at a time.
After pasting the line in the box, click "Open", and choose "No" to "restart" message box, untill the last line has been pasted in,...then choose "YES" to "Do you want to restart your computer now"

C:\WINDOWS\System32\TGBRFV_.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\TGBRFV_5.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\TGBRFV_.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\TGBRFV_5.exe

I do not see any of those in your log though .

Scan with hijackthis and tick the boxes next to all the following entries, then close all browser and explorer windows, and hit the "Fix checked" button.

NEVER MIND!! I fixed it (I think - you never know with malware)...It appears as though there was a .dll file called ppc.dll that put itself in my Program Files directory under a directory called PPC Advertor. I did EVERYTHING else under the sun to try to delete this, and getting rid of this .dll in Safe Mode finally seems to have done the trick. Thanks for your help, and keep up the good work on this site!
