Bonjour isnt strictly needed unlesss you use media sharing, and could be considered a security risk - but the other two are needed if you want to use your ipod. iTunes is bloatware, but with apple you have no choice but to use it.

True, but they can be turned on manually when needed, they don't require running all the time. As I said, this is what I do when my granddaughter visits, re-enable, takes all of 10 seconds. When it is no longer needed, turn it totally off.

not worth the hassle

but if you want to just go to run and type services.mmc . set them to manual and reboot.

It is users choice really. At least you know they are not taking up resources for no reason just sitting there.
