Virus problem. (w/ MBA-M & Hijack This logs)

For the past few days I have been having a virus problem that doesn't seem to want to go away. I first noticed the problem when Internet Explorer was running slowly and I was seeing unexplained pop up ads.

I have run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware numerous times, fixed the problems and each time I run it again it seems to find something new. Any help at all solving this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I just ran MBA-M (didn't bother rebooting for 'delete on reboot files' because when I have and scan again things still show up) and Hijack This again (in that order) and here are the most recent logs:

MBA-M:

First of all your MBA-M program is way, way out of date. The current version is 1.31 and the most recent database is 1475. You need to update it, which will give you the newest version and also bring the database up to date for today. This program has updates for it's database almost daily, sometimes even more than once a day. This program should ALWAYS be updated prior to running it.

I also want you to run SDFix.
To do this do the following:
Download SDFix.exe and save it to the desktop.
Now, double-click on the SDFix icon that should now be on your desktop. If a Open File - Security Warning box opens, click on the Run button.

A window will now open showing SDFix being extracted into the C:\SDFix folder. Once the installation program has finished extracting SDFix, it will open a Notepad with further instructions.
Reboot your computer into Safe Mode by doing the following:

1. Restart your computer

2. After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.

3. Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear

4. Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

5. When you are at the logon prompt, log in as the same user that you had performed the previous steps as.

When your computer has started in safe mode, and you see the desktop, close all open Windows.
Click on the Start button, click on the Run menu option, and type the following into the Open: field:

C:\SDFix\RunThis.bat

Then press the OK button.
The SDFix window will open containing some brief info and a disclaimer on the use of the tool.
Please press the Y key on your keyboard and then press enter.
SDFix will now start scanning your computer for known infections. This can take awhile so just sit back and be patient and allow the program to do it's work.
When it is complete you will see a screen telling you that you must restart the computer. Just press any key on your computer's keyboard in order to restart the computer.

After your computer reboots SDFix will automatically start and perform a last check.
Then you will see a screen telling you that the program has completed so press any key again to continue to the desk top.
The SDFix log should open automatically in Notepad. Save this log where you can find it easily, the desk top is always a good place.

Next, rerun the Updated MBA-M program and this time please be certain that you tell it to Remove everything found. If the program says it must reboot to remove then PLEASE do so at this time. Please save the log as before.
Reboot.
Then run a new HJT scan and post back here with the SDFix log, the new MBA-M log and the new HJT log.
Judy

Did anyone have a chance to look at this? Any help at all would be AMAZING and I'd really appreciate it.

Sorry, don't know how I missed this. Still some nasties there.
Do the following:
The first thing you should do is print out this guide as we will close all the open windows and programs, including your web browser, before starting the ComboFix program.

Download ComboFix, You will get a prompt asking if you want to run or save the file. Choose SAVE and save it to the desk top. DO NOT RUN it YET
We are almost ready to start ComboFix, but before we do so, we need to take some preventative measures so that there are no conflicts with other programs when running ComboFix. At this point you should do the following:

* Close all open Windows including this one.
* Close or disable all running Antivirus, Antispyware, and Firewall programs as they may interfere with the proper running of ComboFix.

Once these two steps have been completed, double-click on the ComboFix icon found on your desktop. Please note, that once you start ComboFix you should not click anywhere on the ComboFix window as it can cause the program to stall. In fact, when ComboFix is running, do not touch your computer at all and just take a break as it may take a while for it to complete.
Windows may issue a prompt because ComboFix does not have a digital signature. This is perfectly normal and safe and you can click on the Run button to continue.
ComboFix is now preparing to run and when it has finished you will see the Disclaimer screen you should press the number 1 key and then press the enter key to continue.
ComboFix will now start scanning your computer for known infections. This procedure can take some time, so please be patient.
While the program is scanning your computer, it will change your clock format, so do not be concerned when you see this happen. When ComboFix is finished it will restore your clock settings to what they were previously. You will also see the text in the ComboFix window being updated as it goes through the various stages of its scan.

When ComboFix has finished running, you will see a screen stating that it is preparing the log report
This can take a while, so please be patient. If you see your Windows desktop disappear, do not worry. This is normal and ComboFix will restore your desktop before it is finished. Eventually you will see a new screen that states the program is almost finished and telling you the programs log file, or report, will be located at C:\ComboFix.txt.
When ComboFix has finished, it will automatically close the program and change your clock back to its original format. It will then display the log file automatically
You should now post this log here when all is complete.

Ok, now Update the MBA-M program, which should always be done before each scan, and then run a Full System Scan with it. Have it Remove everything found.
Reboot the system and then run a new full system scan with HiJackThis.
Post back here with both those logs.
