I'm in need of someone who is well versed in asp.net specifically the aspdotnetstorefront v7 who is in/near and able to come to Lakeland,FL and do some face to face consulting concerning our companies commerce website.

We have been trying to have a major upgrade to our site done. Currently it is some fairly basic html with a perlscript utility for configuring a specialized product. About 3 years ago we started working with a company to to do some custom programming to revamp it. They are located in a another state, and communication on several levels is difficult...so 50k later we have an off the shelf $2500 pos (piece of software) with some custom modifications which fall far short of our expectations and needs.

At this point we are trying to decide if this project is salvagable. I'm not completely inept when it comes to computers, but I am too busy to personally put the effort into learning what I need to make certain evaluations or try and do something myself. I need a programmer who can come here, sit down with me, get their hands dirty and take a look at what we have and try to answer a few questions and figure some things out. If the first question this person has is why can't we just do this on the phone or remotely, then that is not the person I need. I really need sombody who has the ability to get an overall sense of what it is we have and what can be done to get what we need out of it and make this evaluation by getting an understaing of what we do, how we do it and what this company is lacking. I really need someone to understand the creative side of this along with the code. This might only end up just being a single day where I pick your brain for a negotiable sum of money or for the right person could be an easy job that they could make some extra cash on a possibly on going basis as far as continued maintenance or updates and add-on's.
