My first commercial Website. Would like a feedback please!
Website made in ASP.NET C#
Currently there is a special character issue found next to each Add To Cart Link Button but please do not consider this bug as it will be removed.
Would like a feedback please on possible design and functionality issues.

Thank you

Hi,
Ok so firstly, I would never buy off an online retailer with no postal address on their site. Also why does your domain name bare no resemblance to the name of your company?
Generally content wise: there just isn't enough. You have very little detail on any of your products. The more you write about each item the more words will be picked up by search engines. Even your about page is only one sentence long!
For example... I click on Children's gifts in the left hand menu... I then click more info under a picture of two bottles... the title then reads Message in a bottle... the description is Personalized Message in a bottle. Ideal for childrens Gift. - The ONLY additional piece of information i get from the description is the single word Personalized. That just isn't enough! You also do not have the title of each item on the multi-product pages.
Now layout and graphics wise:
It is a fairly good looking site, I only have two complaints:
- the blue rollover tabs for the top menu, are a bit jagged in the rounded corners.
- The grey bar that contains the tabs seems to just stop 3/4 of the way accross the page?
I hope you can learn something from those comments. oh and finally... I can't click to buy anything? - bit of a flaw on a commercial site!

Hello skaterz
Your first site is better them my first one. Years ago I lost a lot of time creating e-commerce platforms, until the day I found Os Commerce and Joomla. It is faster and cheaper than building a new platform. And both this platforms are open source and can run on almost every web hosting service on the Web. (Linux hosting is more affordable then Windows hosting)
Here you can find some examples of :
Os commerce templates
http://www.templatemonster.com/categ...rce-templates/
Joomla templates
http://www.joomla-virtuemart-designs.com/
Another advantage is that these platforms are build to be Search Engine friendly.
About all the rest I think roryt is right...

Alright.
Layout:
On both IE and FF your whole site seems to be shifted to the right. I don't know if this is by design or if it is not displaying like you want. There is a large space between the left side of the screen and where your main menu begins. Normally, the main menu should be at the far left, especially if you have design element stretching all the way across your page like you do with your navigation bar.
I also have to do a horizontal scroll in order to see the "View Cart" button. That would be unnecessary if you adjusted the content of the page to the right.
The iframe sort of idea for the products is very clunky. It lends itself to a very frustrating user experience when they have to view everything in a tiny box in the middle of the page, especially if you ever add more products.
If you really want to sell stuff, you've got to use the space on the page more for things like prices, descriptions, etc. These things are the meat of your e-commerce site, not the products themselves.
As mentioned above, it is IMPERATIVE that you buy your own domain name.
Design:
The design of the site, in terms of colors and graphics is pretty good. It could use some improvement in terms of character, but I would definitely focus more on the layout and user experience aspect as you go forward with improvements.
Hope my notes have helped.
Happy coding!
