The Software Applications Developer will join our Applications Development Team. As part of this team, you will build scalable, database-driven web applications for one of our production websites, www.Airfarewatchdog.com. You will work with a strong group of other Software Application Developers in a .NET environment working with the DotNetNuke/DNN framework.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience programming in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET or similar object-oriented web application languages, in a professional team environment.

• 1-2+ years programming within the DotNetNuke/DNN.

• Experience with DNN portal administration, new module design/development and skin design.

• Familiarity with Object-Oriented design patterns and how they are used in software design.

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• A strong understanding of XHTML, CSS and JavaScript.

• Solid knowledge of VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET and MS SQL Server

• Experience with AJAX, JSON, SOAP/Web Services, RSS and other Web 2.0 technologies.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.

• Experience with the use of source code control systems (subversion, cvs, etc.)
