Greetings to the Group - Here in the Philippines, our DSL provider's DYNAMIC IP ADDRESS with a 2MB connection is usually bad on a good day and off prime times, so we opted for their STATIC IP ADDRESS, which has helped a lot. My son's XBOX 360 would lag terribly before but did connect to XBOX LIVE to play his games with his buddy. Now, with the STATIC IP ADDRESS, he can't connect with the same buddy at all, but did connect to someone else. So, why was he not able to connect with his regular buddy now using this STATIC IP ADDRESS, when he was able to before with the DYNAMIC IP ADDRESS? The connection to XBOX LIVE seems to be fine and he does connect and get on line. All input is appreciated.
