Hi and I am beginning to make an online community (like myspace/flicker) and am still at the stage of programming. I am looking for people to help improve the experiance of visiting the website by having designers deciding how the templates should be layed out visualy and what the best graphics would be such as gradients. This is a voluntary job and I am looking for designers. Designs are perfered as pictures that show what goes where and how graphics are to be done (eg if solid button effect is to be used). Most communications will be done via msn or email.

I guess you will find it hard to find a freelance web designer for free.
