Hi..by the way i'm mark...a newbie in visual basic and my question is this...
How or what is the codes used to connect from visual basic to "SQLyog"...just like visual basic to ms access?...

why you need to connect Vb to another GUI tool , not a database.

I hope yo know SQLyog is a GUI not a database like msaccess.

if you are looking for the connection string to mysql ,find it here.
