DJM123:

Did you ever figure this out? I am getting the same issue with a friend's computer. He recently had some serious malware that I think I have removed. I am hesitant to return it to him because it is still doing this.

This is the behavior that I experience:

While browsing links off the MSN page, I frequently get a page that displays this message: "Object Moved. This document may be found here" The address of this message page begins with "http://g.msn.com..." The link on the word "here" takes you right back to the original msn page, not the page you were trying to go to. The link address in this particular case was "http://www.msn.com/?SU=http://msnbc.msn.com/

I was browsing simultaneously with another computer going to exactly the same pages and got no such behavior.

I am using Windows XP Pro SP1, and IE6.0

I have searched on the error phrase in google and have not found anything useful. I was hoping someone could help.

Thanks!

I wonder if your browser has been hijacked. I would consider doing this. Download hijack this. Find a website that can read the logs and see if that helps. Its a spyware program. I really can not suggest a certian website but I am sure there are tons out there. Have a nice day.

Hello HelloIamTim. (hehe)

Oh yeah!.. the browser had been hijacked and I had just fixed it with hijackthis. It seemed to be working fine except for this MSN thing. My friend thinks it is a temporary problem with the msn site. When I started browsing links from the msn site again, it did not reoccur.

I gave the computer back to my friend. It seems to work fine for him.

Tim
