 I have just had my whole system restores and change from WindowME to WindowsXP, and also changed from Dial-up to High-Speep Internet, now my computer freezes every few minutes, I've called my ISP many many times with no real solutions. When my computer freezes, the only way to restart it is to shut it down manualy, wait at least 2 minutes, push the button again and if I'm lucky I'll be able to log on for a few more minutes, I did this 6 times before I could actually join this Web Site. So, please, if anyone has any idea about what the problem is, and how to fix it, REPLY

this could be a heat problem ,a problem with ram ,you will need to trouble shoot the problem .first open you case and make sure the fans are spinning and your CPU fan is not clogged with dust ,
go here for memory tester . EDIT : different site than first posted .
