I'm getting unwanted porn pop-ups from every site I go to, including google, after running Ad-Aware 1.05 Pro, Webroot Spy Sweeper, Spybot Search and Destroy, and CWShredder... I've run all the programs again, and nothing is found, however I'm still getting these pop-ups from google, and I know that can't be typical google behavior... So, as a last resort, could anyone please take a look at this hijack this log:

Oh, and I do use Mozilla Firefox and these pop-ups, of course, don't show up... I had to use Internet Explorer recently because of a compatibility issue and that's when I discovered this spyware...

First of all, right-click on your desktop and select New folder. Name this folder something like HJT, and then drag hijackthis.exe into that new folder.

CWShredder should have fixed some of this, are you sure it's updated? Try updating it and run it again.

Scan with hijackthis and have it fix the following entries:

Reboot into Safe Mode

Go to:
C:\WINDOWS\System32 and delete CTFMONSS.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\System32 and delete CSRSSW.EXE
C:\WINDOWS and delete wtlbass32.dll
C:\WINDOWS and delete stoolbd.dll -- I'm curious about this one, before you delete it, right-click on it, go to properties and see what it says. Then open it in note pad (or wordpad) and see what's in it.

Reboot normally

Download the Hoster from here:

Run Hoster and press Restore Original Hosts, OK, and Exit Program

Did you scan again with the updated CWShredder? If so, did it find anything?

Go to Add/Remove Programs in your Control Panel and remove (if found) Viewpoint

Scan with HJT and have it fix the following entries:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cus.../search/ie.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cus...//www.yahoo.com

Close all windows other than HJT before hitting the Fix button

Reboot into Safe Mode

Go to:
C:\Program Files and delete the Viewpoint folder

Reboot normally

Reset your homepage
