Excel Dimentioned Variables

It has been a long time since my programming days and I have forgotten a few of the symbols used in declaring variables. I remember that to declare a string variable, attaching the dollar sign ($) does this. Also the exclamation (!) denotes an integer. Can anyone please refresh my memory on the other variable typing symbols, such as double and such?

Thanks,
Tux792
