searching records in data base

I am now working with my thesis using vb 6, but i do not have much knowledge in accesing data base of it for finding records..any responds and solutions you can give will be a big a help for me,.thanks for considiring my problems..

Have you tried the excellent tutorial at the top of the Posts page on this forum

I found it gave me just about everything I needed in order to manipulate a database. Any questions afterwards and this tutorial will at least enable you to narrow down anything you may be requiring to Google.
