We all know that Obama has made it clear that he is going to make restrictions on outsourcing businesses. If implemented then that means trouble for many countries that relies on outsource businesses like call centers and other businesses. Do you think it’s a sound decision made by him?

Tough luck. Obama is looking out for #1 (USA) not the world. We here in USA have long disliked outsourced call centers mainly because the person on the other end of the line can't speak English very well, or speaks with an accent that is difficult to understand.

So yes, I agree with Obama that outsourcing should be banned.

He is looking more at government outsourcing -- just a quick example, the CBs (seabees) build a bridge for military pay-scale where KBR builds a bridge for cost + 10% (their cost which is not necessarily true cost). That means it actually pays for KBR to abandon a truck with a flat tire and buy a new one (cost +10%) than to guard the truck until repairs can be made.

Another example might be KBR employees installing the electrical for the USArmy - those contractors don't really care how well they do because, well - they don't live there but last count was that bad electrical installation has killed 17 soldiers (can you imagine having to worry about dying while taking a shower in the Green Zone after an 8 hour fire-fight?).

We may never know how much graft, corruption, and outright theft went on in Iraq because all the outsourcing contracts were no-bid, no oversight contracts.
Imagine a world without hypotheticals....

Judging from that, I think he means outsourcing work to other countries.

The best way to fight drugs is to remove the user.

The best way to fight outsourcing is to remove the consumer?

I think you are right -- Obama was probably talking about outsourcing US government contracts. Too bad he doesn't expand that to outsourcing all other jobs in US too, but that would quickly be declared unconstitutional by USSC.

I am sorry but I do not get USSC - a quick rule of thumb is whenever you use an acronym, the first reference should include an explanation.
