I'm pretty sure this is part of a virus, so I've moved your thread to the appropriate forum (for now anyway).
What I suspect happened is that an antivirus program deleted this, but left the program that is trying to run it; or when you emptied a temp folder it could have been deleted (which is a good thing if this is virus related).
Get Hijackthis from here:
http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis_sfx.exe
Close all browser windows, scan with hijackthis, save the log, and copy & paste it here.
Hopefully we can figure out what the problem is.

Start hijackthis and hit the "Scan and save log" button. Save the log that appears to your desktop. Open the log and copy all the contents and paste the results here.

Hi Carol,
You posted the log correctly, and I don't see anything malicious in it. However, there are two entries in the log which indicate that you have to correct a couple of things before you use HijackThis again:
1. That entry indicates that you had at least one instance of Internet Explorer running when you ran HijackThis. Before fixing problems with HijackThis, you must make sure to close/quit ALL instances of your web browser(s)! HijackThis cannot fully perform its fixes while browsers are running.
2. That entry indicates that you are running HJT from within a Temp/Temporary folder. Please do the following:
Create a folder outside of any Temp/Temporary folders for HJT and move it there now. A folder such such as C:\HijackThis or C:\Spyware Tools\HijackThis will do.
One of the normal steps in eliminating malicious programs is to entirely delete the contents of all Temp folders. Given that, if HijackThis (and other data that you care about) is living in those Temp folders, it will be erased along with everything else!
Temp/Temporary folders are just that- Temporary. They are not meant for permanent storage, as their contents are often delete in the course of troubleshooting, by running disk clean-up utilities, etc.
3. In terms of the msdart.dll file- that's a valid Microsoft library file upon which more than a few programs might rely. The file may have been deleted or become corrupted, causing the error to be displayed by whichever of your programs is trying to access the file. You may have to extract or download a fresh copy of the file; you can find more suggestions on that in this Google search:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...ll&btnG=Search
4. At exactly what point do you get the eror about the missing wmedia.exe file?

The only thing I see in your log that you may wish to consider has to do with CTHELPER.EXE -- quote from sysinfo:
CTHELPER is a background task that is a plug-in manager for Creative drivers. The theory is that 3rd party manufacturers can use the CTHELPER plug-in interface to produce drivers, add-on features, and fixes that will integrate with a tighter fit with Creative’s sound drivers and utilities. Given its purpose CTHELPER would normally be classified as a "leave alone" background task. It also allows Creative speaker setup to be synchronized with Windows Control Panel speaker setting. Without it running that check box in Creative speaker setting is not functional (settings are not in sync). Unfortunately there are often problems with CTHELPER, most notably that it can use 100% of CPU time so it's best left disabled unless you need it.
