Text Classification using kNN

Hi Everyone,

First time poster here, I am currently doing my final year undergraduate project on text classification using kNN (k-nearest neighbour).

At the moment, I am having a bit of difficulty getting how this thing works. I have used TFIDF to give a 'weight' to each and every word in my whole corpus. Now how does the classification for this actually works?

I know and understnad the idea of kNN, but not for text classification unfortunately.

It will be great if someone can just explain how TC acutally work using kNN.

Thank you..

Regards,
