NTauthority shutdown

hi
i seem to of picked up the msblast worm virus any ideas how to erase it . i have the patch and virus scan but its not showing itself.i have tried running regedit but it lasts 5 seconds, same goes for the patch.i have run symantic msblast scan and it came up computer clean but every 45 mins i get NT authority shutdown. i have read about blocking certain ports in firewall but don't know how
