I'm not sure if this is the right forum,
i have a flash drive what id like to keep some information on permently is this possible and if so how can it be done.

hi,i might be missing something but! just copy info to the drive and never format the drive,cant see why that wouldn't work.

It should automatically detect any standard memory card. It will become an extra drive and should be seen in the same place the CD mounts. If it is non-standard you may need Linux drivers for it, many manufacturers are bad at this.
