X-Server refuses to start (FreeBSD)
Thread Solved |
Hello, first of all I'm not a Unix expert at all (otherwise I wasn't asking this question), but I'm having some trouble starting my X-Server ...
When I type the following:
The contents of the "/var/log/Xorg.0.log" log file:
I'm using FreeBSD 6.0 (Yes, I know it starts getting dated)
(My computer: Dell OptiPlex GX110, I'm using an USB mouse)
Thanks in advance !
P.S.: Sorry if my English is bad, my native language is Dutch...
When I type the following:
startx or X I get the following error message(s): ... No core pointer Fatal server error: Failed to initialize core devices ... Please also check the log file at "/var/log/Xorg.0.log" for additional information.
The contents of the "/var/log/Xorg.0.log" log file:
(II) I810(0): xf86UnbindGARTMemory: unbind key 7 (II) I810(0): xf86UnbindGARTMemory: unbind key 8 (II) I810(0): xf86UnbindGARTMemory: unbind key 9
(My computer: Dell OptiPlex GX110, I'm using an USB mouse)
Thanks in advance !
P.S.: Sorry if my English is bad, my native language is Dutch...
